Tom Mulcair Prepares To Leave?

Listing the highlights of your political career is like picking the tunes for your Greatest Hits album, right?  Its what you do when you are done.  And, weirdly enough, Gary Doer is coming back home.

Coincidence?

That did not look like a farewell speech to me, more like a 'let's clear the decks and get back to work' speech.

Well, if that's the case the NDP will never woo me back. Mulcair's prosecutorial "feisty no nonsense way" may have served him well in the Commons, but in an election campaign it reminded me of Harper. Unfair? Perhaps. I may reconsider the NDP when they have someone other than a small-c conservative, former Liberal, Margaret Thatcher admiring 60-something for its leader.
