Today In T.O. Turmoil

A senior member of Rob Ford’s office was interviewed by police last week about a tip linking a video allegedly showing the mayor smoking illicit drugs to a recent Toronto homicide, two separate sources have confirmed.

At a certain point it stops being funny.  Like, when the first body turns up in Lake Ontario.

I didn't really see mayor Ford in that light, more as a loudmouth buffoon or a bull in a china shop than some sinister kingpin involved in criminal intrigue.

We'll just have to wait and see.
But this latest news of a homicide investigation linked to the mayor's office may provide some answers as to why the mayor fired his Chief of Staff last week.

While it may be hard for many to conceive of the mayor and his inner circle involved in criminal activity, as opposed to political buffoonery, it is not that difficult to attribute such activity to the Royal York Drifters gang, given reports of their involvement in various criminal ventures, guns, the kidnappings of a rival or delinquent drug dealers to some form of involvement with homicides
or attempted homicides.

Definitely past the pt of funny and the police should have been involved quite a ways back, not sure if they are all paid off too.

So sources confirm a video existed and linking that video of the mayor with a homicide. And if that said video was destroyed by the mayor or those associated with the mayor, it is tampering with evidence and destroying evidence in a criminal investigation.
