Yeah Its A Meaningless Poll

...but its nice to see all the Tory mis-steps are finally starting to leave a mark.  Mind you, it sucks to see that, despite Bob Rae's exemplary performance in the HOC, the LPoC is still very much in 3rd place.

Makes you wonder just how damaged the Liberal brand is when digging its way out of third spot seems a monumental task of Olympian proportions. Maybe it really is going to take a walk-on-water Saviour to salvage this former political luxury liner from the scrapyard of irrelevancy.

The problem is that Rae and the Liberals haven't done anything worth remembering. I can point to the NDP's work on the Attawapiskat file and research into Clement's slush fund just for starters. But when it comes to the Liberals I seriously draw a blank despite the amount of attention Rae has been getting.

You could have added the townhalls the NDP had on pensions.... Or did it slip your mind. ;) (Next big thing -- pensions. I can feel the Conservatives' fear -- got flyer from my Conservative MP gushing about how much she loves families and the elderly.)

Too bad about the long gun registry.
(Just as it's a shame that Scott Simms is a dick on Section 13.)

How about Bill C-30? Vic Toew's child pornography outburst was directed to Francis Scarpaleggia. The amendments to the bill are designed by the Liberal (NDP are supporting them), and possibly, you can see the NDP not wanting the Liberal to get too far ahead on the issue because they're attacking the Liberals on it.(Could just be second nature.)

Then there's the whole voter fraud situation. This lands in the Liberal's lap since most of the riding targeted targeted were Liberal. Doesn't help that the Conservatives seem to be attacking the Liberals in an incredible sloppy manner.

But on a funny note, the sole thing that sort of broke through with my non-political workmates (something they brought up) is Justin Trudeau calling Peter Kent a piece of shit. It was roundly agreed though, Peter Kent's a piece of shit. ;)
