Gulf Oil Spill: Containment Cap Coming Apart?

This is funny

This maybe not so much:
You can wait a week for the MSM to pick up on this, or read The Oil Drum today. Don't know if this is a dangerous development or no.

The Oil Drum is a fantastic resource for up-to-date technical information on this whole ghastly affair. Watching it unfold, I simply can't believe the environmental price that is being paid for our addiction to fossil fuels. It is like a bad nightmare from which we can't seem to wake up. Electric cars, solar and wind power, increased energy efficiency will all help us use less oil, and leave the oil under the sea and in the tar sands where nature has safely stored it. Maybe this terrible tragedy will finally convince us that we have to change our ways.

Keep in mind that oil leaks from the bottom of the ocean like this occur all over naturally... it's only big news because it's by the coast. Instead of blaming BP or blaming Obama or Bush or both and every other person you can come up with, people should be focusing on the answer...there is technology out there that can contain this problem, and the natural leaks as well - http://newworldinnovations.com.
