A Poll From The Frozen Tundra

I, like you, didn't know they had elections in Manitoba. But apparently they do and the latest Angus Reid poll Hugh McFadyen's Progressive Conservatives up by seven points over the NDP government.

What this portends, I have no idea, but its a slow-news Saturday and I got nothin' else.

I wouldn't exactly call Winnipeg and environs "a frozen tundra", but yes it is a slow news day, aside from tequila being smuggled aboard airplanes, or not.

Manitoba just IS an Inuit word for "frozen tundra".

It's pure internet, so I'd be suspect. Also, they shouldn't attach a margin of error to it since it isn't actually random sample. Not that I care.

What Shiner said. There will be more accurate polls published in the next couple of weeks. The MB PC's have done/said nothing lately that would explain any increase in their popularity at all.
