London Teabaggers Redefine Concept Of "Complete And Utter Failure"

From Five Foot's website:

We topped out at about 100 people for the London "Stop over Spending" rally outside City Hall.

Frankly, I can't believe we had that many, under the circumstances: at points, the rain was blasting down in sheets, and the wind knocked a lot of our stuff around.

Frankly, I can't believe they had that many either. Applying the Shaidle deflation factor, and working through the math, I get 20 far right blogging nerdlingers, the voices in their heads, their mamma, several addled seniors, and a homeless guy that stumbled into the parking lot where the city stuck their pathetic display and was brutally clubbed to death in lieu of an actual Islamist.

This picture, from here, gives some idea of the "crowd" size.
Note also in these pictures the total absence of rain "blasting down". Note in this picture the actual presence of sunshine. And here's the weather for that day; the rain avoided their little rebellion nicely.

Finally, it appears "the black guy" didn't show. Probably got within 100 yards of this gang and heard banjos playing the theme from Deliverance.

Whooee! Usually, people open their umbrellas and put up the hoods on their hooded jackets when it's raining.

The English have honor and dignity. These are two traits that disqualify you from being a teabagger. They also feel an obligation towards their country. Some would call it patriotism. This would also disqualify them. Paying your taxes in England is not regarded as the act of a sucker. Makes you wish it was the 4th of July. Doesn't it?

While I do not support these guys, it is probably best if you don't start looking as stupid as they do when making comments.

I live in London and it rained off and on all day Saturday. It was a total mixed bag of clouds and sun constantly.

And, Reg Cooper Square is not a parking lot. It is a concrete area (like a very small Nathan Phillips Square) directly across from the centrally located Victoria Park.

UU,

Clearly it rained as the link to the weather report shows. The rain was sporadic and didn't really occur during protest hours.

As for the parking lot remark, I am allowed to jest occasionally.

I've been begging -BEGGING!- Blazing Cat Fur to post the text of Shaidle's "speech". He won't, and she hasn't. A real pity, because the text of her last "presentation" before a group of seniors was hysterically bad, and I was SO looking forward to a delightful evisceration.

You'll note she carefully chose the phrase "peaked at" to describe the 100. That means that at some point the twenty or so who gathered, plus passers heading to their cars, plus the drunk passed out under the park bench, may for a brief moment have added up to thirty.

The real secret of the poor attendance, of course, is in the fact that virtually every website promoting this lame attempt to ape American lunacy, has misspelled the address. Apparently despite all that massive brainpower on the right, and the innumerable cuttings and pastings, no-one noticed that "Dufferin" St. is misspelled. Heh.

@Balbulican:
Do you really need the transcript? Surely "Arf arf arf! Rowwwwwr ... ROWRF!" about sums it up?

Stop censoring them with your ridicule!

Christ, is this Nazi Germany or what?

This warms my cold, cold heart.

Perhaps she could use the photos that the American teabaggers are using to support their claims regarding crowd size? I'm sure her supporters couldn't tell the difference between the Washington Mall and London, Ontario anyways.

You are all truly blessed not to live down in Crazy Land.

Okay, that was a good line.

Because the last part sounds almost plausible, haha.

JimBobby - this crowd usually gets into trouble when they wear their hoods.
