We Will Know Soon

Hamilton, Ontario (AHN) - Prime Minister Stephen Harper indicated he is close to announcing a decision this week or next week whether to hold a national election by fall.

I'm betting he balks. Otherwise, the first week of the campaign is about his broken promise re fixed election dates , the privatization of food inspection, and listeria.

Kiss Ontario goodbye, in other words.

Lots more confidence votes coming, Steffi will continue to be weak, ineffective and within pathetic and the pressure will increase in the Liberal caucus until they start chewing on each other.

Liberals remain divided, Iggy &Bob continue their whipser campaigns behind Steffi's back, Harper continues to govern, the CpC raises more and more money, Liberals fail economically, lose all the law suits against them.

Liberal Party of Canada dies off from lack of interest.

Nobody notices or cares.

YOO HOO !!

If he drops the writ in the next two weeks none of those embarrasing confidence votes even happen.

It always surprises me how commenters such as the first one in this thread can type at the same time as they're performing a duet with Harper on the rusty trombone.

Is Ontario still around for the Tories to kiss us goodbye? I kinda thought we'd already left the dinner table, gotten in our car, and driven away. If the Tories want to kiss Ontarians goodbye they'll have to find us first.

We're already pretty much avoiding them like the plague.

For information on the international increase in C. difficile deaths check out this article.

Somehow, I don't think the THOUSANDS of C. difficile deaths in the U.S. (or the doubling of the death rate in just four years) has anything to do with unions or public vs. private healthcare. It might have something to do with the new prevalence of a much more virulent strain of the disease that is resistant to more treatments, but unless reality bites is suggesting the unions have genetically engineered a new drug resistant strain of C. difficile and are deliberately and secretly infecting people with it (both here, AND around the world), then I fail to see his or her point.

Of course, Tory supporters are often very much like the Tories themselves. Never one's to let SCIENCE get in the way of a good story.

Once again, not me (ti-guy knows all)

BCL, I'm really tired of this person coming in, making his points and never responding to the fact that he's (deliberately?) using my well-established handle on this blog.

Yeah, listeria is Harper's fault. As was SARS, AIDS, 9/11, and the JFK assassination.

Moron.

Don't forget those itchy yeast infections doughy Conservatives get in their fold areas. Those are Harper's fault too.
